  I ordered a foundant cake for my boyfriends 21st birthday I had ordered it almost a month of anticipation I emailed pictures of how I wanted it (2 to be exact) 1 of the size which was the first one ,and the second one of the back and side of it cuz the first one didn't show. The person who took my order had told me that they were gonna be able to do it how I wanted it. She called the lady who makes the cakes to make sure I was gonna get what ordered. She said it was fine but the smallest she can do it is for 50 people, I originally wanted it for 20-30 but it couldn't have been done. So I accepted for the cake to be for 50. I wanted it exactly how the picture was if not exact AT LEAST similar. I asked if they can put ' Happy 21st Adrian'. My total came out to be $240. So I left a deposit. The cake was suppose to be ready by a Saturday so I had to give the rest of what I owed by a Thursday. Two days before the occasion. I pick it up Saturday at 2pm I receive my cake and its nothing like how I ordered it. On my picture (the primary one!) it was a tall cake, the cake I received was wide. The writing on it was messed up it said 'Happy 21th Birthday Adrian' the side of it was suppose to say 'BMO' it said 'BWO'. The moment I seen the cake, and that it was wide I disliked it I wanted to speak to the person who had made it or the manager, and no one was there to be found besides the girl who turned the cake into to me. So I told her when she would be available and she told me to go in on a Monday. So that following Monday I went in and wasn't there so I left and about an hour later she calls me and I explain to her what my situation was. She then tells me that she doesn't think she will be able to give me a refund. For there is a policy that 'if you don't like the cake you can leave it there'. No one told me the policy, for if it came down to it I would have never paid for something I wouldn't have wanted! I find it unfair as customer for not getting something I wanted. I don't want a full refund but at least a partial refund. That's all I ask for! I personally don't recommend this bakery for it is unfair and unjustified for what they do. If they had any misunderstanding, confusion, doubts, or anything of that sort that's why they write down your number to give you a call.
